The brother and sister duo decided to make a podcast after a lot of mentions to each other about how their conversations about pop culture could be recorded. In particular, while driving back from the movies. It only solidified when time after time, they realized there wasn't a podcast discussing literally everything in the long form and breaking everything down. And even the great ones missed some topics or didn't quite do it the way they would. A purchase of microphones made by Rachel, and Kevin was compelled to try recording. Forging the name Shelf Life, your hosts embark on a never-ending journey through pop culture for themselves, for you, and for posterity to determine what really belongs on your shelf.

The big brother. Kevin's hesitation to start the podcast has been put to rest as it now acts as an outlet for him to sing, badly, and do impressions, badly. He brings the expertise on comics, pro wrestling, sports, and movies. He looks to preserve the shelf for the future as the journey continues.
The little sister. Rachel brings her expertise of sci-fi and fantasy, video games, and totally, totally obscure nerdy stuff to the podcast. The bubblier of the personalities, she fully embraces the podcast journey. Oh and also the expert on weird theories, the paranormal, sasquatches, and whatever else gets added to the list.
